News 5. Custom SG Arena! -- DONE!!

ShadowXCraft i̶s̶ ̶m̶a̶k̶i̶n̶g̶ made a custom SG arena. Since in 1.7.2 there are new blocks, we a̶r̶e̶ ̶p̶l̶a̶n̶n̶i̶n̶g̶ planned on using one; packed ice.

-The plan i̶s̶ was to make an almost pure ice arena. Also, most things w̶i̶l̶l̶ ̶b̶e̶ are under ice (ground), and we a̶r̶e̶ ̶g̶o̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶t̶a̶k̶e̶ took advantage of packed ice to limit where you can see through things.

-The lower regions w̶i̶l̶l̶ have much more packed ice then the the upper regions

-It support 40 players (This thing is HUGE)

-It is going to be large,̶ b̶u̶t̶ ̶n̶o̶t̶ ̶t̶o̶o̶ ̶l̶a̶r̶g̶e̶.̶  Around 720 X 720 blocks

-There are a lot of tunnels (lit with glowstone), trees, and buildings made of ice!

-There is a top area where there will be pure ice that will have hills and ice trees and buildings

To clarify- We are for the basic starting point going to use ice and packed ice depending on if we want to let the people see through things. more packed ice will be used near the bottom than the top. we will use light sources, but if they cause ice melting, then we will use redstone lamps, but if we need something brighter, then we will need to space them a bit or put packed ice there (packed ice does not melt and it allows things (like torches) to be placed on it). There will also be chests used, and other than that, there will be some things used, but will not be used much, and preferably be okayed by the owners.
